Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

Start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Next, cook the macaroni according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

Making the Cheese Sauce
