Houston's Cheese Toast Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 head of iceberg lettuce
– 1 cup of chopped red cabbage
– 1 cup of chopped carrots
– 1 cup of chopped cucumbers
– 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1/2 cup of croutons
– 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Begin by washing and drying your vegetables thoroughly.
2. Chop the iceberg lettuce into bite-size pieces, and place them in a large bowl.
3. Add the chopped red cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes to the bowl.
4. Toss the vegetables lightly to mix them together.
5. Sprinkle the croutons and shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the vegetables.
6. Drizzle your favorite salad dressing over the top of the salad. We recommend a creamy ranch or blue cheese dressing to keep with the Houston’s Salad flavors!
