Directions:

Roast the Poblano Peppers

  1. Preheat your oven to broil on high.
  2. Cut the poblano peppers in half lengthwise and remove the stem and seeds.
  3. Place the peppers on a baking sheet, cut-side down, and broil for 5-7 minutes until the skins blister and blacken.
  4. Remove the peppers from the oven and place them in a sealable plastic bag or a covered bowl for 10 minutes.
  5. After 10 minutes, remove the peppers from the bag and remove the skins. Dice the peppers into small pieces and set them aside.
