Ingredients

  • 1 package of elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 4 cups of cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the instructions on the box. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly.
  6. Add the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.
  7. Continue to stir until the mixture begins to thicken.
