Gluten Free Cheese Straws Recipe

Next, add in 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir the cheese into the flour mixture until it is evenly distributed.

Now it’s time to add in your liquid ingredients. Add in 1/2 cup of cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes. Use a pastry blender or your hands to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Add in 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar and 2 tablespoons of cold water. Mix the liquid into the flour mixture until it forms a dough.

Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently for about 2 minutes. Roll the dough out into a rectangle that is about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut the dough into thin strips using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. Arrange the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the cheese straws for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown. Allow the cheese straws to cool for a few minutes before serving.
