Ingredients

  • - 2 eggs
  • - 4 tbsp butter
  • - 1 tsp vanilla
  • - 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • - 1/2 tsp salt
  • For the blueberry filling:
  • - 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • - 1/4 cup sugar
  • - 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • - 1/4 cup water
  • For the cream cheese filling:
  • - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • - 1 egg yolk
  • - 1/2 cup sugar
  • - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, and active dry yeast. Mix well and set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, add milk, butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Whisk until well-combined.

3. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Mix until a soft dough forms.

4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover it with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place.

6. Meanwhile, prepare the blueberry filling. In a saucepan, add blueberries, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well.
